1927 Yasaburo Inouye started business contact with Arcos S.A., Belgium.
1930 Acquired the Agency for the import of welding electrode from Arcos.
1937 The company was founded under the name of Aichi Kogyo.
1945 The company name was changed to Aichi Sangyo Co., Ltd.
1948 The import of electrodes was resumed.
1952 The Kobe branch was opened.
1955 The Nagoya branch was opened.
1957 Flux-cored wires and semi-automatic welding equipment were imported into Japan. Gevaert photo-films and ACEC induction heaters were also imported around this period.
1959 Yasaburo Inouye was given a special award from the Japan Welding Society for his contribution to the development of welding technology.
1961 Yasaburo inouye was awarded the Chevalier de L'Ordre de Leopold II from Belgium.
1962 Nippon Arcos was established as a joint venture with Arcos, S.A. to manufacture flux-cored wires in Japan.The Hiroshima Branch was opened.
1964 ACEC licensed Mitsui Shipbuilding to manufacture induction heaters. Aichi undertook its sales.
1965 Business established with Weld Tooling Corporation, USA.
1967 Business established with ARO, France for the import of Resistance Welders.
1969 Yasaburo Inouye was awarded the 4th Order of the Sacred Treasure. Business was established with Hedman, Canada.
1972 Business established Dimetrics, USA.
1974 Aiko Engineering Co. established. Business established with Farros Blatter, Switzerland.
1976 Yasuyuki Inouye became President of the Company.
1977 A core removal equipment was imported from USSR.
1979 Showa Denko joined in descaling business.
1981 Business established with Lincoln Electric, USA.
1982 Business established with Retech Inc., USA. Letter of Appreciation given from USSR Machino-Export for the contribution to the import of machinery.
1985 The new Head Office in Tokyo was built. Business established with Eureka and E.H.Wachs Company of the USA.Showa Denko joined in descaling business.
1987 The "Time Welding Process" was developed in cooperation with Weld Process Co., of Canada.
1988 Business established with Lapinus N.V. of the Netherlands.
1989 Jemix Co. was affiliated with Aichi Sangyo.
1992 Business cooperation was started with Toyo Engineering Corp. for the application of the PACT System to the treatment of radio-active wastes.
1993 Business established with PBI Dansensor of Denmark.
1994 Development of high speed welding as a project funded by MITI.
1995 Business established with Ceramatec Inc. and Asbury Graphite of the USA. The Osaka Office opened.
1996 Acquired license from Walhonde Tools to manufacture pipe clamps. Business established with Welding Services Inc., USA.
1997 AIKO received orders for design and manufacture of special welding equipment for renovation of nuclear power plants.
1998 Osaka and Kobe merged into Kansai Branch
1998 Imported large precision vacuum casting furnace for directional solidification and single crystal turbine blade production for gas turbine and aircraft jet engines.
1999 Awarded contract for plasma arc centrifugal treatment furnace for low level radioactive waste at JAPC, Tsuruga Plant.
1999 Received a research work from the medium-sized enterprises group for Welding technology and given a subsidy from Tokyo prefecture.
1999 got approvals of residence seam welding machines and spot welding machines from GTT (Gaztransport technigaz)
2002 Business established with Lemoine Multinational Technologies Inc. of the USA. Molding project got in to full swing.
2003 Started the business with Hermle AG (Germany)
2004 Announced Fronius CMT welding machine and started its sales.
2005 Awarded jointly with WSI overlay works for converter hoods from NSC and other companies.
2006 Signed a contract for Retech EB furnaces to be built for Toho Titanium.
2007 Compiled a history book and held a party in commemoration of the company's 70th anniversary,
2008 Kansai branch office moved to its original district in Kobe.
